TENSES




nah, setelah berabad -abad blog ini usang akibat deadline tugas dan terjangan ulangan dari berbagai sudut pandang akhirnya setelah perjuangan keras saya bisa ngisi blog ini lagi. hahaha  yaey . yuk belajar bahasa inggris, lainnya coming soon~



SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
Function :
·         Used to states routine activities
·         Used to express a general truth
·         Used to stated activities scheduled


FORM :
Active voice
Passive voice
(+) S + V1 (S/ES) + O
(+) O + is/am/are+ V3(past participle) + by + S
(-)  S + do/does + not + V1 + O
(-) O + is/am/are + not+ V3 +by + S
(?)  do/does + S + V1 + O
(?)  is/am/are + O + V3 + by + S
 
EXAMPLE :
Active voice
Passive voice
(+) People make books from trees
(+) Books are made from trees
(-) she doesn’t repair the work immadiately
(-) The work is not repaired by her immadiately
(?) Do the writer write 3 letters for president?
(?) Are 3 letters written by the writer for president
(+) my parent’s treat me like a baby

PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
Function :
·         Used to express the idea that something is happening at the moment of speaking
·         Describes activities generally in progress (not at the moment)
·         Use of the tense is to talk about temporary actions of future plans

FORM:

Passive voice

(+) O + is/am/are + being + V3 + by + S
(-) S + is/am/are + not + Ving + O

PRESENT PERFECT TENSE
Function :
·         Used to describe that the activity has been perfect
·         used to describe repetitive activity
·         used to describe action that began in the past and continues into the present
·         used to suggest that a past action still has an effect upon something happening in the present.

(+) O + Have / has + been + V3 + by +S

·         Used to express an action which will occur in future and is thought to be completed in future
